The ZANY PUNS! trope of characters introducing themselves is partly a tribute to Rejected by Don Hertzfeldt, and partly a way for the reader to figure out what I was trying to draw.
I don't remember why I always had the strips waste space by opening with characters saying "Hello" to each other, but I assume it was important. So hello.
